BQ24800: Asking for BQ24800design review customer returned

Hi Team,

Customer designed BQ24800 and has customer returned.

 pin REGN impedance normal is about 200kohm and for abnormal one REGN is 12ohm.

Fail rate is 1pcs (among 300ku)
Would you please help review  schematic to see any abnormal?

    Hi Scott,

    The schematic followed the the design guideline except the missing CIN and CSYS caps specified on the BQ24800 datasheet. Please refer to the BQ24780S schematic checklist for your future reference to review the schematic. Both chargers are from the same family.

    I also noticed that there are extra GND pins of 29-33 on the package. Is the thermal pad named 29 and what are other GND pins?
