Hi team,

The application I'm designing now is EMI demanding, so I'd like to reduce the noise as much as possible.

Question 1. Does charge pump noise appear on the VIN side as well?
Question 2. Is it better to use a ferrite bead pi filter near the TPS7A84 on the output side?

    Here are the details related to your queries

    • Question 1. Does charge pump noise appear on the VIN side as well?Answer : It is expected that noise from charge pump will not appear on the input side as this is a very low current charge pump that is created just to control the gate of the pass element.
    • Question 2. Is it better to use a ferrite bead pi filter near the TPS7A84 on the output side?Answer : Ferrite will definitely help in terms of noise improvements at higher frequencies generally f > 1-2MHz.
