Hi Team,
my customer use TL431B to generate a regulated voltage as driver for high-side FET in half-bridge. circuit as below ( see black)
If no load, Vout is stable as 17.9V, but if adding the MOS ( that is , adding ~20mA), Vout drops much to ~15V. But if using p2p device from other vendors, it is always stable. Since the Vout/Vin has floating GND reference ( Source of FET is high voltage ) , I suspect it is related with common mode voltage.
Also, we found adding a 1nf cap in parallel with the 1kohm ( as shown in RED) , then no such issue.
Could you please kindly add your comments on this? Thanks.
