BQ76952: Can we use BQ76952 BMIC for LMFP cell chemistry?

Part Number: BQ76952

Hello,

Can we use BQ76952 BMIC for LMFP cell chemistry? If not then, Is there any alternative available?

Regards,

Hardik

  • Hello Hardik,

Our battery monitors are not necessarily dependent on the cell chemistry of the battery. The device only measures and reports back the cell voltage and current data to be used as desired, most often it is fed to a host processor.

The main thing to consider is the minimum power requirement of the device itself to operate properly, please refer to the device datasheet for more detail.

    Best,
