Hi,

Which is the part that supports active current limiting?

What is the guideline for inputing the values in rows 17 to 22 in the attached xls.

I want to use this part for 12V nominal input supply.

Hi Abhijit,

TPs259814 support active current limiting. Rows 17 to 22 are meant to give detail about your load like the type of load and load turn on threshold(at what value of eFuse VOUT load will get enabled.) These fields help predict whether eFuse will have successful startup.

Hi Kunal,

TPS259814 is connected to DC DC regulators, most of them enabled by UCD90120 long after 12V becomes stable. I have kept all parameters from row 17-22 as default except RLOAD startup. How to estimate the RLOAD start up? If i use the default 3 ohm RLOAD, glitch free start up shows 'No'.

You can choose field 16 as 'no'.
