LM63615-Q1: LM63615-Q1 taking longer time to simulate in PSpice

Part Number: LM63615-Q1

Hi,

I'm simulating the circuit for LM63615-Q1 in PSpice for 5V output. However it is taking lot of time to simulate as, it took almost 4hours to just reach the 5V (covering around 5ms of simulation runtime).

Can you guys please let me know if there is a way to reduce the simulation time ?

Attached the following for reference:

a) Simulation results window snapshot.

b) Folder containing the PSpice circuit for reference.

PSpice_Circuit.zip

It would mean a lot, if you guys can help me resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Vineet Anurag

  • Hello Vineet, I recommend you replicate the simulation settings and schematic in the attached PSpice design.https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/snvmbr6

The design has a startup and steady state schematic, with the startup schematic having an optional, abbreviated soft-start time, and steady state, with a parameter steady state which forces nodes to a voltage to speed up computation time.

Otherwise, limiting nodes in the schematic and traces measured are on another way of reducing computation time.
