A customer is using the TPS26600 and would like to tie the RTN pad to GND for thermal reasons. While it is understood that this disables/bypasses the reverse input polarity protection, will it also affect the reverse current protection circuitry as well? In particular, does it disable the diode ORing capability if the pins are connected as follows:
