Hi Team,
I am wondering If ITIMER is left open, is the response time TSC when OCP is triggered?

Hi Hailiang,
Short circuit response time will be same as TSC. It is independent of ITIMER cap value.

Hi Kunal,
What I want to confirm is if the TIMER pin stays open. When OCP is triggered, whether the delay time is 0+Tsc, where the typical value of Tsc is 400ns

Hi Hailang,
This device has two overcurrent thresholds. One is ILIM and other is short circuit fast trip threshold(ISC= 2.1*ILIM).
1. When current is between ILIM and ISC then device waits for ITIMER duration and after ITIMER it circuit breaks. Total response time= ITIMER+ TLIM. For ITIMER open case it is 0+TLIM= TLIM.
2. When current is above ISC then device trips without waiting for timer and response time is tSC.
