TPS7B69-Q1: FIT Rate based on mission profile

Hello team,

My customer need to calculate the function safety of their system which is used TPS7B6950-Q1. About the Fit rate based on SN29500, the reference Tj is 70C.

  • But in their evaluation, they need the fit rate based on different junction temp. Would you mind help check whether we can provide them this spec based on their mission profile?

the total working hours is 1000h

  • Also, would you mind help explain the mission profile in the picture? I don't see any table 11 in this function safety doc.

    Hi Lanxi,

    We cannot support custom mission profiles. The Siemens Norm SN 29500-2 section 4.3 includes the equations and all details how to scale the reference FIT rate from the reference temperature conditions to the actual operating temperature conditions. 

    The second question is answered in the paragraph above the mention of table 11.
