Hello,

I'am using the BQ34Z100 EVM board, when I load the content of the data flash subclass ID 48, its content is not organized as discribed in the datasheet of the bq34z100 and the bq34z100-g

As exemple, the design capacity at offset 11 is stored at offset 21, cell charge voltage T1-T2 and T2-T3 are at offset 28-29 30-31.

All the data of te subclass ID48 are shifted by 10 bytes.

Until now, I didn't see another problem in the other subclasses.

Can you hlep to understand what happen?

if its can help, the control command returned following data :

device type : 0x0100

FW_Version : 0x0006

DF_version : 0x0000

The start address of each subclass is determined by compiler and linker, can you explain how do you identify the start address of the subclass 48?

As explained in the datasheet, using the DataFlashClass() gives access to the registers subclass.

Then, to read spoecifc offset, I use address 0x40+mod(offset,32), that gives access to the data of subclass at spefic offset like on my previous creen.

I found the DesignCapacity does locate at the offset as specified in TRM, which is 11

I send 0x30 00 to 0x3e, then read 34 bytes back from 0x3E, the design capacity is 1000, which is 0x03E8 in Hex, you can see this data is at offset 11 from the data 0x0E, the 3rd byte in the read back block

Hi Steven,

For information, I tried to read the gauge configuration on my own hardware design, the dataflash content corresponds to the default values of the datasheet. It seems that the problem comes from the evaluation module of the gauge configuration.
