If LP3856ES-2.5/NOPB (2.5V/3A) recommended for Voltage rail to an FPGA device?

    Hi Ray,

    At a basic level this device could work, but it will depend on the important specs for the FPGA (i.e. PSRR, noise, output voltage accuracy). If they have these kinds of requirements then we can evaluate this.

    I recommend looking at TPS7A53 or TPS7A54. These are newer, much better devices that are also cheaper.
