Hello,

Is the pin FMEA details available for LM22679. Would like to understand the impact of ADJ and SS pin - Short to VCC,GND and adjacent pin condition.

    Hi Arun,

    We don't have pinFMEA available.  

    From an applications perspective this is what should happen:

    Theres no VCC per say, however ADJ and SS are only 7V and should damage if shorted to VIN.

    If SS is shorted to GND there should be no output, SW should stay low.

    SS shorted to FB should also cause no output.

    ADJ shorted to FB should cause incorrect current limit setpoint based on Figure 7-3 in datasheet and FB Thevenin impedance. 

    The ADJ pin shouldn't be shorted to GND, however I think it should just be default current limit.
