I am looking for alternate for TPS568215 with 4.5V-17V input and 4 A output current.

The out voltage =3.3V

Looking Efficiency and load regulation same as that of TPS568215.

Hi PSG,

Could you please share background information of your requirement? Like application, current phase of project, etc.

And could you please give detailed requirement for other features of desired buck converter except efficiency and load regulation?

Project details are given below:

Application : Edge computing device.

Phase : Second revision of existing Product. Proto need to be build.

For saving cost and PCB space , I need to replace TPS568215 with 4.5V-17V input and 4 A output current. Kindly suggest alternate .

FYI.

As part of second PCB revision ,I had posted replacement of few regulators in e2e forum. I will select suitable replacement as per e2e forum replies.

Hi,

One more update. This regulator has to drive 1TB SSD on M2. slot (appx 8W). So please suggest Regulators which can use for NVMe SSD application (12V input and 3.3V out put for M2. connector).

In addition to Zixu's suggestions, I also found TPS62135, TPS62136 which are limited to 4A. Their efficiency might be on the lower side compared to TPS568215 at 4A. I also found TPS568230/TPS568231 and TPS56C215.

Hi Amod,

My application is an Edge computing device with 1TB of NVMe SSD module ( max power 8.25W with 3.3V) .

The input to regulator 4.5V to 16V with 5A . Could you please suggest such regulator of this aplication ?

Could you please cross check whether TPS565242DRLR can meet my requirement ?
