TPS62130A: SW ringing

Hello team,

My customer mentioned ringing at SW node is large. then the voltage of SW node might be above absolute maximum rating of SW (VIN ＋0.3V)

Is there any solution for that? and can this device of SW pin tolerate more than VIN ＋0.3V

Hi Shoo,

Please refer to this app note: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva494a/slva494a.pdf SW node voltage exceeding VIN+0.3V is not a problem as long as the source inducing this voltage is not external. Do you have any SW node waveforms you can share here? Please use pigtail or tip and barrel technique when measuring.
