My regulator is working well I was having temperature issues operating at 2Mhz so I decided to switch to 1mhz. Inductor size was doubled and correct frequency set resistor was selected. This improved the overheating a lot. But now my IC is failing as soon as I exceeded an input voltage of ~40v. When I was operating at a higher frequency I did not have this issue. I have a very large soft start capacitor of 10uf is this also a possible issue.
