Hi,
I am implementing TPS22811LRPWR in a hot swap design.
When the device is not connected to the backplane the PRESENT# signal is floating and when the device is inserted the PRESENT# signal is pulled to GND. This is the only signal I can use to enable the load switch, no MCU signals are available.
Vin is always 12V. The only power rail available on the backplane is the 12V rail.
R4 and R5 sets UVLO to 9.7.
When the device is not connected R1, R2 and R3 sets OVLO to 10.7.
When the device is inserted R3 is shorted and R1 and R2 sets OVLO to 15V enabling the load switch
Is this a good solution for enabling the load switch when the device is inserted?
Any suggestions for improving the design?
