Thanks for using our FETs. The REACH affected status comes from using lead in the die attach inside the package, all of our MOSFET devices are lead free external to the package.
So to get a REACH unaffected device you need to be 100% lead free, please be aware some competitors claim to be lead free yet they also have solder die attach. Please always check the bill of materials for each device.
We wrote an article you may find interesting here (https://e2e.ti.com/blogs_/b/powerhouse/posts/what-does-a-lead-free-power-mosfet-really-mean) that describes which of our products are 100% lead free.
As for a REACH unaffected alternative to the CSD17304Q3 I would recommend a lower cost CSD17578Q3A. This CSD17578Q3A is epoxy die attach and thus REACH unaffected and same footprint as the CSD17304Q3.
