Hi all,
We use BQ25890 charge management chip, now with 22W adapter, default mode, without I2C The charging input is 12V/800mA, approximately 9W power.
If the input of 12V/1.5A be configured through I2C?
Thanks for your respond.

Hello,
Please use the input current limit (IINLIM) register (REG00 bits [5:0]) to adjust the allowable input current via I2C. Please note you may also need to adjust the sizing of the ILIM resistor as well because the actual input current limit will be the lower of I2C setting and ILIM pin.
Best Regards,
