BQ25672EVM: BQ25672

Part Number: BQ25672EVM

1.I have set up a single battery on the development board, and the current battery voltage is 3.8V.

The default charging current should be 2A.

But the actual test charging current is only 1A.

Could you please help me check where it is and do I need to set it up?

2.

could you please ask if the maximum system voltage after fully charging the battery is 4.55. The actual VSYS after charging is 4.93V:

  • Hi Kevin,

Regarding 1, yes.  The datasheet has an error.  The default charge current is 1A.

Regarding 2, the datasheet spec shown above is with pulse frequency mode (PFM) disabled.  The charger has PFM enabled by default.  With PFM enabled, the SYS voltage is higher.  The host can write to the I2C register to disabled PFM.

    Regards,
