Hello team,

My customer has question about the value of Capacitance on PP5V (Cpp5v).

On the datasheet, it says minimum 120uF. However, on the TPS65994QFNEVM user's guide, only 10uF X 2 is connected to PP5V pin to the GND. 

Which value should the customer follow for thier design, datasheet or EVM?

    Hi Kei,

    Yes, it should be minimum of 120uF and does not necessarily have to be local cap. J1 is a selector for PP5V and P5V0, where P5V0 is the output of the buck regulator. There is additional cap on P5V0 which meets the 120uF requirement and is sufficient.
