Hi Team,
The Webench link is the following:
https://webench.ti.com/power-designer/switching-regulator/customize/25?noparams=0
from an input voltage of 12V at 12.5A, I would like to have an output of 6V at 3A with a buck converter.
Questions are:
- Which package is suitable for capacitors and resistor? In the bill of materials it advices to use packages of 0805 and 0603 which are pretty small…
- The schematic from the datasheet (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps565242.pdf?ts=1684051872056 page 14 under “Typical Application”) it differs from the webench. Is the zener necessary? How are the resistor R4 and R3 calculated? They differs from the webench tool.
- What is the maximum input current tollarated?
Thank you.
