LM5013-Q1: LM5013-Q1

Part Number: LM5013-Q1

Hello,
We want to use the LM5013QDDARQ1 to get a voltage of 13.3V for 1.5A. We are inspired by the evaluation card and its recommendations.
Without load we have the desired voltage in Multimeter but in CRO the Output Voltage is not continuous due to the EN pin Voltage Drop lower then threshold voltage.

If load is connected to the output then voltage drop around 10V at 40mA – 50 mA load. We tried to reconsider our schematic.

  • Hi,

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you want to redesign your circuit? What are your input and output conditions? What is the working frequency? You can use the following calculation tools to design parameters according to actual application conditions. You can also use the pspice model and webench model provided by the official website for simulation verification. Hope this can help you. Thanks.

  • hello,

The input range is 24V to 65V and output should be 12.35V 2.5A. The switching frequency at input side is 300KHz. We are redesign our circuit as recommended in excel sheet but now the problem is output is 0.124V to 0.138V. Previous Circuit EN pin output drop in mV so that why the output at SW pin get break again and again when we connect the load.

  • Hi,

The normal EN voltage cannot be at the mV level, please try to connect EN directly to VIN, or an external power supply. Also refer to the link above to redesign the circuit. Thanks.

  • Hi,

I will close this thread due to no reply for a long time. If you have other questions in the future, you can ask them again in E2E. Thanks.
