LM5170: Current Control without outer loop

Part Number: LM5170

Hello,

in my application I have to source 100 A or less in a resistive load of about 0,1 ohm or less.

I need only to regulate the current flowing in the load, the voltage across can vary according to the load.

Is just enough apply an analog voltage on the ISETA pin with an MCU to get stable current operation?

I'm giving a look at datasheet and reference design TIDA01041, where an outer loop is implemented with both analog current and voltage control.

In my case I don't need voltage regulation because the voltage across the load can be any < 10 V,  and the current control alone is not working good in my simulation.

Can I use only the ISETA input to set the current, without analog outer loop?

Thanks in advance.
