TPS61379-Q1: NC PIN 12 connected to ground or floating

Hi Team

My customer replaced TPS61378 with the TPS61379.

Besides the output current, both controllers differ in a wiring of a current limiter - pin 12 ILIM => resistor to ground for the TPS61378.
Can they leave this resistor mounted when using the TPS61379 or must this resistor be omitted on pin 12 (not connected)?
