My customer has the following question:
UC1524A was identified as a potential alternative part for the UC1524B, and we’ve been working on comparing the two parts’ data sheets for potential impacts. We have the following question:
If we use the same Rt (oscillator timing resistor) and Ct (oscillator timing capacitor) values across the two parts (1524B and 1524A), would this change the switching frequency of the oscillator? If so, could you provide us with a transfer function that relates Rt and Ct to the switching frequency?
