LM4040-N: Stability and Lifetime

Hello,

We are looking at the 5V reference LM4040 and had a few questions.

What is the difference in LM4040 and LM4040-N?
Is the LM4040AIM3X-5.0/NOPB the orderable LM4040-N P/N for the 5V reference in the small DBZ package?
If clamped constantly, will there be any stability or lifetime issues?
If constantly reversed at 2-4.5V for the 5V Zener, does this affect the stability of lifetime of the diode?

1. The "-N" version signifies that the part originated from National Semiconductor before Texas Instruments purchased National Semi. Both parts have similar specs.

2. LM4040AIM3-5.0/NOPB is the orderable part for the 5V reference in the small DBZ package (tape and reel, 1000 count)

3-4. Please see expected lifetime and stability characteristics (page 23) when operating the device under the recommended operating conditions (page 6) and 2.4V-5.0V:
