TPS62827: Different between TPS62827A and TPS62827

Part Number: TPS62827

Hi Expert,

Do you know what is the different between TPS62827A and TPS62827?

  • Hi Far,

The difference is that the TPS62827device operates under all load conditions in PWM mode, while the TPS62827 uses Power Save Mode (PSM) to optimize efficiency when the output current is low. Depending on your application you might want to prioritize efficiency (use TPS62827A version) or output voltage ripple (use TPS62827).

    Regards
    Nelson
