Does anyone know how to use the PSPICE Average Model and the RT pins if you have a parallel topology? I'm supposed to be able to leave it floating but the tool doesn't like this?
Thanks,

Hi Joseph,
I recommend tying the RT pin to GND for the TPS7H4001-SP Average model. This model does not utilize the RT pin internally since switching frequency is passed into the model through the "FS" parameter.
Thanks,
Sarah
Thanks Sarah! What about for the transient model? It doesn't like it when the RT pin is left floating either. According to the data sheet it's supposed to stay floating in a parallel topology that uses the internal oscillator.
For the transient model, I would recommend adding a wire to the RT pin. That way there is technically something connected to the pin so that PSpice doesn't complain, but electrically it is floating.
All the best,
Sarah
