Hello,

Can I hook up the UCC28070EVMas a PFC Boost front end to the UCC25640EVM-020? The UCC25640EVM-020 manual only discusses hooking up UCC28056EVM-296 or UCC28064EVM-004.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for the query on UCC25640.

Actually it makes more sense to use transition mode mode PFC like UCC28056/UCC28064 for this power level of 160W as front end for better performance. UCC28070 EVM is designed for 300W, so probably you might not get best performance at 160W for CCM PFC. But you can definitely hook up UCC28070 EVM for evaluation.
