TPS61120: TPS61120PWG4

Part Number: TPS61120

I have been using the TPS61120PWG4  boost converter in a product for the past 5 years.

Just recently, we are experiencing a lot of failures for "noise in the audio".

Upon inspection of "good units" vs "bad units", I see a very different waveform on the input (battery) and output (+5.5V) of the converter.

The failed units seem to have the converter operating at a lower frequency (in the audible range)

Please Advise,

Good Unit Input

Good Unit 5.5V

Failed Unit Input
