LM285-1.2-N: Difference between LM285M-1.2/NOPB and LM285BXM-1.2/NOPB

Hi,

what is the difference between LM285M-1.2/NOPB and LM285BXM-1.2/NOPB?

According to the datasheet they seem identical, but the 1ku price differs a lot.

Due to supply situation my customer consider using LM285BXM-1.2/NOPB, hence the question.

Hi Masoud,

if I understand you correctly, the letter "B" has no meaning in itself. It is only used if I want to have a better temperature coefficient e.g. BX (in data sheet X=30ppm/°C) or BY (in data sheet Y=50ppm/°C).
If I do not need a restricted temperature coefficient as an example, then the suffix "BX" or "BY" is omitted in the ordering designation.
Is it correct?

I want to ask again if the letter "B" has a meaning? Or is it only used in combination with suffix "X" and "Y"?
So "BX" and "BY" respectively.
