TPS23861: Alternative Part for PSE Controller

Hello,

We are using Analog Device IC (LTC4279IUFD#TRPBF) 802.3at PSE Controller for our Product. We want the replace for the same.

We found out alterative part TPS23861, but we are facing issue in stock and lifecycle of the product. can you please suggest us for the same.

Also, We want more better option for the replacement of LTC4279 IC.

Basic Specification We required:

1)Support upto 30W

2)Fully Autonomous Operation without/with Microcontroller

3)Compliant with IEEE 802.3at Type 1 and 2

Hi Kruti,

Thank you for reaching out. Based on the requirements that were described I believe TPS23861 is a good option. The TPS23882B1 is also an option, though that IC may have higher spec than you need. It goes up to 30W like the TPS23861, but it is also IEEE802.3bt Type 3 compliant. I will check and see when the TPS23861 ICs will be restocked and update you after I return to the office on July 5th. Will this IC need to be able to swap back and forth between autonomous operation and host directed operation, or will only one mode be chosen? How many chips do you need?

Thankyou for your Prompt Response.

We required 1100 Qnty.

Right now, We required autonomous operation mode only but if both are compatible it would be great for us.
