BQ24032A: Can I charge the battery less than 100%?

Dear TI experts,

my customer have a question about BQ24032A.

1. Can BQ24032A charge the battery less than 100%, like 80% and terminate charging status?

2. datasheet says that the battery could be recharged if the voltage is under 4.1V, after the charging is complete(4.2V).

Can I change the recharge threshold(4.1V) like 3.9?

    Hi Chase,

    The BQ24032A has no configurability for these two parameters. I'd recommend looking at the BQ25180. It has some configurability such as a lower battery regulation voltage and choice of recharge thresholds (100 mV or 200 mV).
