TPS7H4001-SP: TPS7H4001-SP AC Model

Part Number: TPS7H4001-SP

Hello,

I'm using the part in internal oscillator mode and trying to use 3 in parallel.  Total load is 34A, 0.8V.  Using the PSPICE AC model, I can't perform a Monte Carlo Performance Analysis to see my Gain and Phase Margin.  It works fine with just one.

Questions:

1.  Is it okay to use 1 for AC type analyses?

Thanks,

  • Hi Joe,

Is the question if the results from running a simulation with one device would be equivalent to running a simulation for 3 parallel devices? I would probably not recommend it.

Would you be comfortable sharing your files like you did for your other post so that I can see what you're seeing and possibly debug the setup?

    Thanks,

    Sarah

  • Hi Sarah, I've sent you the Archive to your personal email like we did last time since it doesn't work here.  Thanks.

  • Thanks Joe,

I'll take a look at the files today and get back to you.

  • Hi Joe,

It looks like there is something causing your nominal MC run to occur at 27C, but all of the other runs are performed a 0C. Do you know if there is an alteration you made to the schematic or settings that may have done this?

If you click on "Select Sections", click "All", and then deselect the first (nominal) simulation run, the tool should then allow you to click "Ok" and view the histogram results for the other 499 runs.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
