The TPSM82864A datasheet shows different high-side and low-side current limits as shown below.

What is the current limit value of the TPSM82864A power module when the customer uses it?

    Hi,

    I'm not sure that I understand your question.  The TPSM82864A does not limit the output current directly, but limits the inductor current.  The corresponding output current limit must be calculated.

    The output current at which the device reaches current limit is when the peak inductor current reaches the high-side FET current limit value.  This is when the output load current = the high-side FET current limit - 1/2 of the ripple current.
