Hello,

I'm deisgning a new project and i will use an BQ25504 to charge a battery.

How can i protect this against user reverse connection of battery.

    Hello,

    I would consider looking into battery protection ICs such as the BQ2982 as a means to protect battery from issues arising from reverse connection. Additionally, you may want to provide mechanical safety features, i.e. a one way battery insertion port which may only allow battery insertion in the correct orientation.
