My customer would like to qualify TPS6508641 but we only have TPS650860EVM.

I would like to know what the different between TPS650860 and TPS6508641?

Should customer rework to remove TPS650860 and put TPS6508641 on EVM?

Or they can just test TPS650860?

    My customer rework to put TPS6508641 on EVM and use IPGUI ( ( to communicate with the device.

    We can't find TPS6508641 in IPGUI as below.

    My question are:

    Does IPGUI+USB2ANY support TPS6508641?

    If yes, what version I should use?

    You can select the option "TPS650861-1.1" from the drop down menu. This version will work with any of the TPS650864x variants. Note that you will not have access to the test mode registers (0x38 address registers) by default with the TPS6508641. If you use the "Read All Registers" button in the GUI, you will receive an error when the MCU on the board tries to read the 0x38 registers. Use the "Read Group" option instead to read only the 0x5E registers which are always available once the PMIC has stable main power and internal reference LDOs are ramped up.

    The TPS650860 version was made to ship with the EVM and will have different sequencing and voltage settings than the TPS650864x versions. The TPS650864x PMICs are built to interface with specific processors attachments in an end application.

    The TPS6508641 uses the 5V external feedback setting on Buck 1 and the EVM does not come with the proper resistor divider setup on the FBVOUT1 pin. See the following FAQ for more information on the 5V EXT FB mode:
