I have a customer who wants to use our MOS, and currently wants to use CSD17577Q5A or CSD17579Q5A, I would like to ask you if they have heat dissipation considerations, which MOS has better heat dissipation can you recommend to them.

Hello Boyan,

Thanks for promoting TI FETs at your customer. These two FETs are in the same package and have about the same power dissipation capability. The main difference is the on resistance of the CSD17577Q5A about 50% lower than the CSD17579Q5A and its power loss will be lower for the same drain current. The CSD17577Q5A is also higher cost due to the larger die size and lower resistance. Which device to use depends on the application requirements. Can you share details about the application and requirements? We have many FET selection tools available in the Tools section of the app note at the link below.
