LM2936: BM vs. M, pin 5

Could you please confirm that LM2936BM is intended to work with Pin 5 left open? Customer is switching from LM2936BM to LM2936M. Do they need to expect any issues?

    Hey Andreas, 

    The BM version can work with pin 5 left floating. 

    As mentioned in the pin functions table:

    "If this pin is left open, pull ed low (< 0.6 V), or connected to GND, the output will be ON by default"

    If that configuration works for the customer, there is no issue with switching devices.
