A customer is using TPS74401KTWR (packaged as a 7 Pin DDPAK) and it was identified as discontinued per PCN. The recommended replacement listed as part number TPS74901RGWR (packaged as a 20 pin VQFN). This NOT a viable option for because of the package difference.
From ti.com: The correct replacement should be part number TPS74901KTWR (packaged as a 7 Pin DDPAK). Is it is active on ti.com but wanted to make sure this is the case.
Is part number TPS74901KTWR active and available to purchase and do you know if there are any plans to discontinue it in the near future?
