TPS66020: Junction Temp

On the d/s, it specifics lowest junction temp to -10degree. However, in customer application, it requires ambient temp that is low to -20degree. D/S doesn't mention that, Is this device ok or not?

Or is there p2p compatible device?

Application: AC inverter

    Hi Brian, 

    Unfortunately we do not have any pin to pin compatible device rated for this range, and we cannot guarantee performance operating at a temperature outside of the validated ranges listed in the datasheet.

    D/S mentions -10 degrees as the recommended value, but I didn't see the operating temperature indicated in Table 6.1 (Absolute Maximum Ratings). Could you please provide this data?

    Hi Ethan,

    All of the available information and data for the TPS66020 is available on the datasheet. The device should be able to handle going to -20 C as other devices in our portfolio such as the TPS25750 can handle this. However, since this goes outside of the recommended operating temperature and this data point is not in the abs max section of the datasheet, we cannot make this statement with 100% confidence.
