Hello everyone ; 

we are using BQ24616 to charge our battery to 16.8 volts from 17.5 power supply ; 

in case  there is no battery in the system ; battery is disconnected ; we see that BQ24616 is regulated the volt on the battery conenctor to 16.8volts . our power supply can go down to 16 volt  for few millesecond  due to irrush current of the system  ; and in this case BQ24616 is turning off the P mosfet (ACDRV) of the power supply for 30ms and this cause a system reset . but due to teh datasheet  ACDRV only turn off when input voltage less that battery voltage ; but there is no  battery in the system . 

How could we solve this problem ? knowing that power supply will swang a little due to the irrush current
