Just a kind reminder.  when vin is close to vout, the switching frequency will be half of typical one for both devices.

Are you saying the following?

TPS63000-Q1

TPS63020-Q1

It can be taken to mean that 4 switches do not move at the same time, and that only 2 switches move at a time.

Will the frequency be halved if I turn off the power save mode by pulling the PS pin high?
Then the TPS63020-Q1 will also fall into the AM band.

I am afraid PSM will not help.

For these two device, when Vin is close to Vout, the whole switching period will be consist by one Buck and one Boost, that is why the frequency will be halfed.

Good things is that these device are low Vin and small output capability, which means the noise source is weak and easy to deal with even they are in AM band.

Is my understanding below correct?

If VIN and VOUT are close, both Buck and Boost work.
Buck and Boost frequencies are half of normal.
TPS63000-Q1 is 700kHz, TPS63020-Q1 is 1200kHz.
This phenomenon occurs even if the PS pin is set to high for FPWM.

Buck and Boost frequencies are normal, but the whole switching period is consist by one buck and one boost.
