Hi,

I want to know the details about the rise and falling edge deglitch circuit which is 2.5us. If the VIN didn't exceeds the UVLO start threshold voltage of 2.95V within 2.5us does the ic will be in a shutdown mode or the rising time 2.5us doesn't have anything to do with the IC device operation & shutdown mode?

  • Hi Surya,

That is correct. The input voltage should exceed 2.95V for greater than 2.5us to trigger a startup. Otherwise the device will be in shutdown mode.

  • 1. what if it is my power source input voltage rise time didn't reach the 2.95V within 2.5us. is it possible and if it is how to solve it ?

    2.  From your reply does the input voltage should exceed 2.95V for greater than 2.5us or within and equal to 2.5us?

  • Hi Surya,

    1. It isn't necessary for your power supply to reach 2.95V in 2.5us to do a startup. The device doesn't turn on with an input voltage below 2.95V. Assume you have a pulse with a low level of 2.9V and a high level of 4V. If the duration (time where it is at 4V) of this pulse is < 2.5us, the device will not turn on during the pulse even though the input voltage is 4V. You need to have a pulse applied for greater than 2.5us to turn the device on. So your input power source turning on with a slower ramp can turn on the device.

    2. It should exceed 2.95V for greater than 2.5us

    Best regards,
