Want to check with you to see if there is an EC on the board that can communicate with 994AE through I2C, if so there might be a workaround for the COMMON.CHEKC.PD.9 issue.

I am communicating with the FW engineer that owns 994AE currently and is waiting for his response on this two issue.

To my knowledge you don't need to use the latest version for the new FW but we always recommend to move to the latest GUI version.

I will send you the new FW via email once I receive the binary.
