    Hi Given,

    its beyond the datasheet's absmax, so there is no guarantee it will be okay. If its just one pulse it could be okay. You have asked for similar pulses before. This is a very similar situation to this linked thread only a bit worse. The driver's output stage is connected via a bond wire which has series inductance, there is a chance the internal driver is not seeing this pulse as it is filtered by the series inductance. Its impossible to say for sure though. I think the risk is low but it is out of spec.
