We have observed input current of around 20mA for the TPS62812QWRWYRQ1 on no -load. Since we are using it on Standby, this current is way too much… As per the datasheet, the no load operational current is around 21uA. Can you please help confirm this?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

It might be the device is operating at forced PWM (MODE/SYNC = High), and that's the reason the input current is high. Can you share a part of the schematic diagram to confirm?

“The device is in Forced PWM mode. Even in the forced PWM mode, will the IC consume close to 20mA of current, Can you confirm? If yes, what’s the possible reason? The datasheet nowhere specifies the quiescent current based on modes of operation. Do we have any document that gives the current consumption details based on these modes?
