1.Is there any reference circuit with DCR current sensing method-In WEBBENCH tool only current sense method is given

Hello,

Please send your quickstart file for review. MOSFET selection depends on Vin, Vout, Iout and Fsw.

inductor DCR current sensing is possible, but note the DCR varies with temperature. Better to use a shunt resistor if possible (gives a stable current limit and loop gain vs. temp).

Vin=8-16V , Vout=5V, Iout=3.8A , Fsw=440KHz can you suggest Mosfet for this inputs

This is an application for a converter with integrated FETs.

Take a look at the LM61440-Q1 36V, 4A or the LM63460-Q1 36V, 6A for example.
