UCC256303: VCR Pin Rating

Hi Team,

My customer is asking regarding the VCR Pin of our UCC256303.

According to TI SIMPLIS simulation tool, we think that VCR is an AC signal.

Should the rating be -7V~+7V?

    Hi Alfred,

    VCR has a common mode voltage of 3V. So, VCR voltage should not be negative.

    In the simulation, the implementation was different. The common mode voltage is not added in both VCR and thresholds. That's the reason, you see VCR going negative in the simulation.
