TPS65988DK: PWM output support

Hi!

Does Application Customization Tool 6.1.4 support assigning PWM outputs on GPIO14 and 15 for TPS65988DK? When I look at TPS65988DH part I find a option to multiplex GPIO to PWM.

Can Application Customization Tool also modify HW control register (0x6b) as it is available for DH model?

    Hi Jako,

    The 6.1.4 Application Customization GUI does not support muxing GPIOs to PWM outputs and does not support modifications to 0x6b HW Control register. We decided not to support these for the 988DK through the new GUI.

    However, 988DK still supports these in hardware/firmware. If you select 988DH configuration in the 6.1.4 GUI, you will see those fields available. You can use the 988DH configuration of the GUI and just change the Base FW Image from the F707 version (DH) to the F907 version (DK). The DH and DK devices are similar.

    Please note that I cannot guarantee how much support you will get for these features on the 988DK, as this is not technically supported by us officially. I am just giving you a workaround that will allow you to access those features.
